den in a couple of years to have foals until this week. Jumped on her, without lunging first, after almost having almost 2 years off and rode around the neighborhood with dogs barking and running out at us, people/kids running out at us, lawnmowers going, cars whizzing by, etc... and I had NO issues. Was a little slow to start with in responding to what I was aking but after about 15 minutes she was just like she was the last time she was ridden. NO hint of bucking or any other kind of bad behaviour. Excellent mother that foals with ease and lets you handle the foal from the start. Stands for the ferrier, stands tied, is easy to lead and is respectful of your space, fly sprays, bathes, loads hauls, etc... with ease. Her biggest quirk is that she can be a pain to catch at times if she gets a wild hair. When she was being ridden she was a pro at trails and would go over, under or through anything with no spook. Easy to catch and gets along well in a herd environment. Current on vaccinations except West Nile (personal preference), de-wormings and had her feet done on the 9th. She is currently barefoot and has never needed shoes. I got her recently but I have known her previous owners for 20+ years. I got her with the intentions of doing a tune-up so I would have a gaited horse to ride but just can't do it with my back. Asking $500.00 OBO. No trades please. Need the cash!!
